Took the day off because I was lazy and my foot still hurt.  I was going to ride the bike and do a gym workout but I was just too lazy.  Made my day really rough though.

Did a run this morning.  First run since my foot was killing me.  It still hurts but I could run without much pain.  We will see how it is tonight...  My calf hurt a little during the run so I slowed down and stopped a couple times to stretch.  It felt good to get out and run again though.

I went with my older brother and took my 2 girls and his little boy to general conference in Salt Lake City.  It was a lot of fun to be with my brother and to spend a little time with my girls.  I woke up and did a 5 mile run on the TM.  We listened to the first of general conference at the hotel and then headed to temple square and spent the morning at temple square.  We went to the afternoon session and the Priesthood sessions of conference and then got up Sunday morning and drove back to Lake Havasu City.  It was nice to listen to conference on the way home.  It was a fun and busy weekend with the kids.

It was a beautiful morning for a run in Lake Havasu City this morning.  The weather was perfect.  I went to the office a little later this morning so I was able to get in a 6 mile run.  The legs felt good but I did slow down with each mile.  That is one frustration I have with my running.  I can start strong and then weaken over time.  Something I need to start training to eliminate.

Did a 30 min stationary bike ride this morning followed by a workout.  I have been increasing the resistance to give my legs a better workout.  I am planning on getting out the bike this weekend and going on a ride with my buddy Rhett.  Should be fun.  We will see how the stationary bike has trained my legs for the real thing.

21 mile bike ride with my buddy Rhett.  We didn't push it too hard but it was good to catch up with him for a while and enjoy being on the bike again.  Looking forward to tri competing this summer.

I LOVE running during this time of year!  It is nice and cool in the morning with plenty of sunshine.  It is not dark anymore when I run and it is just great.  I did my regular 5 mile loop.  Foot held up well but hurts now about the same as it usually does.  I am just glad I can run even with a bum foot.  I did not push it too hard, I just enjoyed the run.

We bought some used Wave Runners for the lake and so this morning I took them out to see how they ran.  I did not have time to get a workout in but had a great time on the wave runners!  This is the first real lake toy I have had and it was a lot of fun to spend a little time on the lake.

I went to the pool and did 18 laps of swimming and followed that up with and 18 mile bike ride.  It was a little windy but overall it was really good.

Did a run to the local gym and followed that with a 20 minute full body workout and then back on the road to run home.  I had to make it quick because the family was waiting at home to go ride the wave runners we bought.  If it took too long I would have got a lot of unhappy stares!

I felt really good this moring for my run.  It was a really nice day in Havasu for a run and I enjoyed every minute of it.  It is kinda funny.  I felt really good and ran at an AP of 7:40 for 6.4 miles and my buddy Rhett did not feel so good and ran of AP of 7:41 for 6 miles.  I have a long way to go!  It is fun to get better though.

I did not have time to ride this morning so I went for a run.  It was once again a beautiful morning.  I felt really good after running 6.4 yesterday at a pretty good pace.  Maybe I am getting a little better at this running thing.

I did a ride with my buddy Rhett this morning.  It felt good to get out on the bike.  We did a couple laps around the Island before my run with my wife.

I did a 10k with my AWESOME wife this morning.  It was her goal to run a 10k and there were none close to us so we did our own.  It was a lot of fun to be the towell and waterboy while my wife ran.  She did a great job and I was proud of her for doing it.

I was in Mesa Arizona this weekend so I did a little run while I was there.  It was nice and flat so I was able to run a little faster than normal.  I had a good run and the legs felt really good.

Did my usual 5 mile loop this morning.  It was a really nice morning to run.  I felt really good.  All my splits were sub 7:30 except for the last one which was 7:45 but it is almost all uphill.  I am excited that I am improving on my speed.  It feels good to get a little faster and better!
