| Got a cortisone shot on Thursday so tested out the foot this morning. Everything felt good. I'm very thankful to be back running. I have enjoyed the bike the last couple months, but nothing makes me feel as good as running. Hoping I can take care of myself so that I can run pain free for many years to come!

| Had a nice bike/run/core workout this morning. Foot still felt good. It is so nice to run without pain. Legs felt tight on the left hamstring still, but I have been doing a lot of stretching and rolling to help with that.

| 3 miles again. Everything felt good. A little less tight. Really nice morning. There is a little chill in the air which tells me that fall is coming. Still warm during the day but mornings are definately cooling off.

| Less tight on the left hamstring/glute area. I think that the rolling and stretching is helping. I have been working really hard on my stretching.
It was foggy this morning and a little humid. Really nice morning for a run. Did a leg workout before the run. My legs feel pretty good!

| I woke up with the foot feeling tight so I didn't want to risk anything. Did about a 20 minute core workout followed by the bike. Legs felt good and the weather was ideal for a ride.
In the afternnon I went to the pool and did a lap swim. The first 10 laps had my arms on fire, but after that I settled in and it felt great. Would have done 1,600 but I had a time period to swim and I so I had to leave.

| First run over 3 miles in 2 months. The left hamstring was a little tight for the first mile but then it loosened up and everything felt good. No pain at any point with the foot and as I write this it has been about 8 hours since the run and everything feels good. I'll slowly increase the miles next week but nothing too drastic.

| Very windy morning. I thought I would go less miles this morning than what I was originally planned. I'm still not 100% confident with my foot but every run I get a little more comfortable. I felt good and the legs felt very rested and good. Left leg was still tight but this doesn't slow me down. Usually warms up after a mile or 2.

| Core workout followed by my run.
I wanted to do 5 miles this morning but at mile 3 my foot felt tight and I wanted to be safe so I stopped and stretched and went another mile. Felt tight still so I walked it in. I still don't trust my foot completely. It's frustrating but I'm trying to focus on the good and the fact that I'm back to running.
Had a nice swim today. Felt good and strong on the swim.

| Nice short run followed by 10 mile bike. I didn't have any pain on the foot so that was a good sign. Really happy to not have any issues. I'm hoping yesterday was a fluke think and more in my head.

| Early morning run and an afternoon swim at the pool. I really like this kind of a day. The run felt great. Went a little slower today. Weather is heating up so it was just a cool 60 degrees this morning. I'm getting a little more confident with my foot.
Swim felt really good and was an excellent afternoon workout. It's been really nice to cross train.

| The goal this week was 20-22 miles and I was right at 21. I'm happy with the week. Run felt good but I can definatly tell I have lost some running fitness. Felt good to run again for a solid hour though.
It's time to start finding good podcasts again and listening to them while I run.
Any suggestions Rhett (besides BYU sport podcasts)??
