Weekly Report:

I accomplished about what I wanted to this week.  I decided early in the week that I was going to shoot for 28 miles this week instead of 30.  I will take a recovery week this week because I will be teaching in Mexico for the week and it is difficult to run long distances, but I will still get a few runs in and really focus on my stability exercises and core work.

The knee is still there.  Nothing worse but not any better.  It has stayed the same for a long time now so I'm beginning to think this is the new normal.  I guess I will just be running with a little pain for the next little while.  Nothing too terrible, but it will be nice when it's gone.  I haven't been great about stretching and rolling the last few days so that may be contributing to it also.  I still think the origin is my IT band so I'll spend next week really stretching it out a lot with a little run every day.
