My first run after my Marathon last Saturday.  My buddy Rhett ran yesterday and said his legs felt great.  I was the opposite!  I still need some time to recover.  My quads were still tired and my right hamstring was still really tight and soar.  This hamstring felt tight during my marathon and I just kept waiting for it to start giving me a lot of pain during the race.  Luckily it never did. My quads were really tired after the run this morning and felt soar for about half an hour.  My mind wanted to run but my body was not recovered enough to really feel good running.  I will give it another shot next Tuesday or Wednesday.  After my not so good run this morning, I went to the gym and did some core work for about half an hour.  Thinking a bike ride tomorrow morning might be good for me.

Smart call getting on the bike. Keep that up til those legs feel 100%. Mine feel fine and I still stayed with the stationary bike this morning. Gotta respect the recovery after a marathon.
